Dr. Andrew Kwak, director and founder of LUMEN, is a nationally recognized laser expert who specializes in the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of varicose and spider veins. Dr. Kwak is a leader in the treatment of vein problems, establishing and directing Penn's first laser vein treatment program. He is a well published researcher and frequent invited lecturer, and past Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. We are in network with most insurance companies for varicose vein treatment.
With a special interest in novel medical laser applications, Dr. Kwak has performed thousands of procedures at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and is a past faculty member of Penn's School of Medicine. Dr. Kwak is a member of The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and is a leader in the treatment of vein problems, establishing and having directed Penn's first laser vein treatment program. Dr. Kwak left Penn in October 2009 to devote full time practice at the LUMEN Laser Center.
